Freeport, Bahamas – The Kamalamee Organization is proud to release
its signature commemorative group photo of the 2014 honourees. This
year’s photo was taken at the Smiths Point Limited a property of luxury
cottages owned by Fred Smith in Grand Bahama.
The sunset photo was taken by
professional photographer and committee member, Lyndah Wells. The
organization will host a portrait unveiling ceremony at the C. A. Smith Complex
during the first week in December where the 2014 honourees will have their 8 ft.
portraits unveiled for public viewing, as part of the organization’s
educational campaign.
The public is invited to attend and applaud the following Honours recipients: Anita
Doherty for Athletics; Washington Smith for Business, Erika Gates for Ecology;
Dorothy Goldsmith for Education; Anthony Williams for Design; Lois Seiler for
Fine Arts; Lorraine Richards for Healthcare; Vicky Martel for Humanitarianism; Hon.
Janet Bostwick for Political Science; and Bishop Rudolph Arthur for Religion.
This year, the Kamalamee Honours Concert will take place on February 21st,
2015 at the Regency Theatre where friends, peers and entertainers will
celebrate ten of the year’s most extraordinary individuals, whose collective
profession has resulted in the economic and cultural development of the island
and country.
The Kamalamee Organization has officially launched its sponsorship campaign
which allows companies and well-wishers the opportunity to donate towards the
educational objective of The Kamalamee Organization.

The Kamalamee Honours continues to
