About The Bahamas Federation of Performing Arts Following the directive of the Ministry of Youth Sports & Culture in collaboration with the Parliamentary Secretary for information and communication to form associations uniting artisans connected to various aspects of Arts and Culture in The Bahamas, The Bahamas Federation of Performing Arts was formed. The purpose of the BFPA is to establish Grand Bahama Island as the central hub for film, television and stage productions in The Bahamas. The second task is to create job opportunities, certification programs, host workshops and training sessions in all areas of the performing Arts. The BFPA has a calendar full of suggestions for exchange programs, film festivals, and networking mixers that will open the curtains for Bahamian artisans to promote their talents globally.
