Freeport, Bahamas - In 2016, the Miss Grand Bahama Organization is proud to be celebrating 30 years! This year's theme is, "Embracing Our Inner Beauty!" and the organization is now seeking applicants for the new season.
The next Miss Grand Bahama will join the group of 30 former queens as the current queen, Danielle Pratt will hand over her crown in October 2016. The search is on for all interested young ladies, be they from West End, Eight Mile Rock, East End, Pinders Point or Freeport.
"I want to thank Danielle Pratt for doing such a great job and has been very busy promoting our organization and Miss Grand Bahama!" said Glenn Davis, President, Miss Grand Bahama Beauty Pageant. "This year Miss Grand Bahama will be competing in the Miss Universe Bahamas Pageant after being absent for many years."
"I also want to thank our sponsors and committee members over the past 30 years!" continued Davis. Current committee members are assistant director, James Bridgewater, Pleasant Bridgewater, Tempestt Bullard, Veronica Ellis, and Shad Rolle.
"This year we look forward to seeing our former Queens celebrating with us, and we are here to keep the Miss Grand Bahama Beauty Pageant alive!"
