Freeport, Bahamas - It’s that time again Grand Bahama! The search for the next Miss Junior Grand Bahama is on. One lucky girl will walk away of the grand prize of a $1000 scholarship. She will also be afforded the opportunity to participate internationally. Also one girl will be chosen to represent Grand Bahama in the Theodore Elyett’s Miss Teen Bahamas Pageant held in New Providence.

Under the theme “ It’s a celebration- Celebrating our many accomplishments thus far,” the organization will celebrate 4 years of beauty and excellence in Bahamian pageantry.

The Miss Junior Grand Bahama Organization is looking for girls ages 7- 9, 10-12, to participate in the first ever Little Miss Junior Grand Bahama Pageant and 13-18 for the Miss Junior Grand Bahama title 2012.

On Sunday January 22nd, 2011, there will be a Pre- Screening and Information Session at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church Hall, located on East Sunrise Highway (next to boulevard gas station) at 6:00 p.m. This session will provide prospect individuals with information on the pageant that will allow them to begin preparations for the upcoming 2012 pageant season.

All interested young ladies between the ages of 7- 18 are invited to attend.
