Freeport, Grand Bahama - The World Diabetes Day Committee of the Grand Bahama Health Services continues in its commitment to bring Diabetes awareness to the public and to enhance the knowledge of health care practitioners who assist in the management of clients with the disease.  To this end the committee has provided financial assistance to two health care workers who will be travelling to Orlando, Florida for the 2014 Conference of the American Association of Diabetes Educators.  The conference promises to enlighten and empower the attendees in current and upcoming diabetes management modules.
