Rayne Armbrister to be crowned Miss Bahamas Commonwealth International

Freeport, Bahamas -  19 year old Grand Bahamian Miss Rayne Armbrister has been chosen and will be crowned, "Miss Bahamas Commonwealth International" on October 6th 2013, at 8pm at the Grand Lucayan Ballroom  in Grand Bahama.

According to the director of Miss Bahamas Commonwealth International, Mrs Willamae Deveaux, "Due to constraints that were unproductive for a full fledged event before the final night, it was decided to go the way of the selection  process from among the applicants. Miss Armbrister was selected as the fortunate candidate."

Rayne Shellcea Armbrister is the second oldest of the four daughters born to Rodney and Alma Armbrister, and the niece of former beauty queen Mrs Lolita Armbrister-Monpetit (Miss Bahamas 1978).

No stranger to the pageant world, this poised young lady  has a few achievements of her own.  A former Little Miss Cinderella, in 2002 she represented the Bahamas in Las Vegas achieving 3rd place (Cameo Girls) along with three other medals.

She also represented the Bahamas at the Miss Teen Princess World 2005 in the Dominican Republic  where she won, "Best Folkloric Costume. Rayne was "Second Runner Up" in Miss Grand Bahama 2010 where she represented the Bahamas in China and has been modeling since the age of nine years.

A former student of Sunland Baptist Academy, graduating with  First Class Honours, Rayne wants to become a fashion designer.  She has a humble,  but  bubbly personality, and keeps herself busy with the things she enjoys such as modeling, dancing, swimming, reading, travelling, spending time with her family, but mostly drawing or sketching.

Rayne who will be Officially Crowned October 6th 2013 says  that she is never afraid to take on a challenge if given the opportunity and that she is ready to accept the  responsibility of a National Queen. In the meantime Rayne is preparing to be properly Regaled
