Salvation Army Freeport Corps Celebrates 30 Years with Commemorate Events

Freeport, The Bahamas - The Salvation Army Freeport Corps will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary on Grand Bahama Island,  and a new Building Dedication Celebration to which the public is invited to attend.

Please note also that this is the 150th year for The Salvation Army globally, which will be celebrated in July in the United Kingdom.

Grand Bahama Events set for Weekend of  January 30 - February 1, 2015.  Location: West Atlantic Drive.

Friday - January 30, 2015
Time - 7 p.m.
"Commemorating the Past": An evening to Thank our Supporters and Friends
Featuring: The New York Staff Band Ensemble & Regency Singers

Saturday - January 31, 2015

"Celebrating the Present"
Time - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Family Fun Fair
Featuring: Games, Prizes, Food and Fun for the entire family to enjoy!
2 p.m. - 4 p.m. - Music Festival
Featuring: World Renowned New York Staff Band Ensemble and the musical stylings of the Nassau Citadel Band

Sunday - February 1, 2015

"Creating for the Future"
Time - 10 a.m. - Building Dedication Service

Officers from Nassau, New York and Jamaica will be flying in to GBI to attend these festivities.
