Sunland Baptist Academy celebrates 40 years in grand style!

Sunland Baptist Academy celebrated 40 years in grand
style along with alumni, teachers,and administration over the weekend of November 13th to 15th, 2009. The school opened in 1969.
On
November 13th, the student donned in commemorative t-shirts went on a
Motorcade which ended back at the school where they all enjoyed a
Family Fun Night featuring food and drinks on sale, bouncy castle, games and fun.
On
November 14th they held
'Dinner Under The Stars'. Sunland School Honoree for the evening was Mrs. Della Thomas and the school also recognized past
principals and teachers who have served in structuring the fine
institution.
A special
church service took place on the 15th at St. John's Jubilee
Cathedra, and the weekend of activities capped off with a
Tea and Fashion Show.
