Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - As a leading educational institution in the Grand Bahama community since 1969, Sunland Baptist Academy is pleased to announce that they will be celebrating 40 years in grand style and hereby invites all alumni, teachers,and administration to their 40th Anniversary Celebration to take place over the weekend of November 13th to 15th, 2009!
On Friday, November 13th there will be a Motorcade starting at 12:00 Noon and ending at Sunland School with a Family Fun Night. Food and drinks on sale, with Dominoes, bouncy castle, games and fun.
On Saturday, November 14th they will have 'Dinner Under The Stars' at 7:30 pm. Sunland School Honoree for the evening will Mrs. Della Thomas and will recognize past principals and teachers who have served in structuring this fine institution. . Tickets are $40.00.
And on Sunday, November 15th a church service at St. John's Jubilee Cathedral will take place at 9:45 am. The weekend activities will end with a Tea and Fashion Show on the Sunland School lawn at 4:00 pm, $ 5.00 Children- $ 10.00 Adults.
