Freeport, Bahamas - The new Tenant’s Association at the International Bazaar is pulling out all the stops to attract shoppers this Christmas season. For the 2nd year, business owners and store operators have launched the “12 Days of Christmas’ promotion. From now through December 24th, shoppers can expect pocket friendly discounts from a variety of stores in the International Bazaar.
According to Marsha Cooper, President of the International Bazaar Tenant’s Association, last year’s success suggested an encore performance. “Last year, the 12 Days of Christmas promotion proved a success for the stores that participated and we thought it most fitting to do the promotion again,” she stated. “The promotion drew shoppers to the Bazaar in significant numbers, proving to shoppers that we have something to offer. We did see an increase in sales and we all gained new customers,” she further commented.
Pleased with the growing success of the International Bazaar's turnaround, President of The Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited, Mr. Ian Rolle, shared that he is happy to see the progress being made there. "The International Bazaar is slowly coming together," he stated. "The store owners and operators are pulling together for a common goal of making the area successful and we at GBPA applaud their efforts".
The International Bazaar’s ‘12 Days of Christmas’ began December 13th and will run until December 24th. Twenty-nine of the seventy-five stores are participating in this promotion. With every $20.00 spent at participating stores, customers will receive a raffle coupon. Drawings will be held daily on Cool 96FM, Dove 103.7FM and Mix 102.1FM. Daily raffles and announcement of winners will be made on Facebook at facebook.com/internationalbazaar. All shoppers with Facebook accounts are encouraged to ‘LIKE’ the fan page to double their chances to win.
