Since 2010, the Organization has added names to the roster who have charted the national standard of excellence. The Kamalamee Organization was founded in 2010 with the Kamlamee Honours being its flagship program in 2012 which aims to pay tribute to those that have significantly influenced the cultural and economic landscape of our island of Grand Bahama and The Bahamas by large.

For the past 4 years The Kamalamee Organization has inducted hundreds of outstanding Bahamians and Bahamian residents to its Bahamian Heroes Honours collection and online database at www.kamalamee.com.

The Kamalamee Honours class of 2014 will begin their induction process with a glamourous black tie photo shoot behind Princes Isles, a portrait unveiling showcase, a medallion ceremony, and a black tie tribute concert in February, 2015.

The public was asked to submit names of their everyday hero online earlier this year; from 50+ names, 10 were selected. The primary standard in the selection process is excellence and notoriety. The Honourees aren’t chosen by achievement alone, but by value of contribution.
