In their
third year the Grand Bahama Humane Society has held their very successful, and very important, "Weekend that went to the Dogs" event. The first event of three events for the weekend is the "Pink Poodle Ladies Luncheon" which is always a sell out, and has become an annual favourite! Imagine a sea of giggling and smiling women dressed in pink,  all out to enjoy a wonderful afternoon for a great cause. Cocktails, great food, games, and silent auction.

This years event, held on March 7th,  was sponsored by the Grand Bahama Yacht Club and held next to the one-of-a-kind  Boat House . The ladies were entertained by Ralph Munnings Trio, and the incomparable, Eddie Llambias was the master of ceremony and the man with the most kisses!

Guest Chef, Joseph Landers was on  hand from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York with his twenty-five years of culinary experience.

The Petite Pink Silent Auction took bids on a 3-piece rolling luggage set; pink bar stools; pink Portolano leather gloves; a pink Carlisle jacket, and pink; a pink Erwin pearl watch and stud earrings; and more!
