A Big Welcome to the Island Hop crew!!

A special group of people are here on Grand Bahama! Yachters have arrived to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Broward County. Hosting this wonderful event is the Grand Bahama Yacht Club. After arriving last evening, the group was treated to a sumptuous meal and Bahamian entertainment within and outside of the one of a kind boathouse on the GBYC grounds.

In attendance to welcome the visitors were Mikala Moss and Terrance Roberts, both of the Ministry of Tourism.

TheBahamasWeekly team was on hand to snap some candid photos of the opening event, and will be presenting more photos as the next two days progress.

The first annual “Island Hop” will host friends, new and old, to six days of great times for a great cause at two of the Bahamas most desired destinations….
