This is a picture of me (Elle Morris) with Nicole Scott (right), founder of Island Heart Beats Experience which visits Grand Bahama each year. This was taken on a park bench beside the labyrinth.

Freeport, Bahamas - The Grand Bahama Labyrinth receives many visitors from all over the world, and sometimes we receive letters from those who have walked the path with us.

The following is a letter we wish to share about Elle Morris' experience since visiting the Grand Bahama Labyrinth earlier this year:

Hello Barbara,

I am one of the women that attended Nicole Scott's weekend, "Island Heart Beats" and we met you on the labyrinth.  After I bought the book,  The Expected One   from the Labyrinth book shop.

I wanted to say thank you because as soon as I read The Expected One, it opened my eyes on many levels. I immediately read The Book of Love and then proceeded to order a book that contains all of the Gnostic Gospels.

Being raised Roman Catholic, I never knew the Gnostic Gospels existed. I walked away from the Church because of the suppression of women and I have always argued that Mary Magdalene was an apostle - Christ chose her to found him risen.

In any case, I feel that my spiritual eyes have been opened, I am aware and in touch with the Feminine Divine (which for a very strong willed woman is critical) and am in the process of devouring the Gnostic Gospels.

All of this because I walked a labyrinth and met you.

Thank you!

Best,
Elle

This is the Grand Bahama Labyrinth the morning I met Barbara and our group walked the labyrinth. It was still wet from rains the night before.
