Freeport, Grand Bahama - Despite cool weather conditions and a wind blown Christmas tree, many came out to enjoy caroling around the Grand Bahama Labyrinth on Saturday, December 19th.

The following is a message from Barbara Chester:

We righted the tree which was out of her pot lying sadly at the centre of the Labyrinth with some lost ornaments and a broken star!  With Darren's help, I had her back in place by early afternoon and, as you will see from the photos, looking bright and sparkly once again.

Gloria McGlone was her usual fabulous self.  She brought many of her Carollers (from the 'Many Moods of Christmas' production) and injected her tremendous, vibrant spirit into everyone who came out for the party. Even the kids gave a spectacular performance and managed to come up with some amazing names for Rudolph!

Thanks to Darren who is a wonderful multi-tasker, and a Garden Tour Guide; he works the lights, the sound,  the camera and is also introducing more people to the Labyrinth which he hopes later to introduce to less able kids.

We had loads of mince pies, sodas and mulled wine.  However, with the inclement weather and other outside circumstances beyond our control, we had fewer singers ....but certainly more enthusiasm  ...especially helped by Jean Hivert's generosity with the mulled wine!

Everyone was in great voice and the party was voted a huge success!

The Labyrinth, once again, gave her wonderful energy to the gathering (especially when the dancing was in a clockwise direction!) and blessing for Christmas!
