Nassau, Bahamas - Statement on Death of Mr. Anthony Butler

Minister of Financial Services and Local Government:
I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Anthony Butler.
This is shocking news. It is hard to absorb. Mr. Butler was not only a resident in my constituency, but a fighter in the journey for a better Bahamas through Civics, Community Service and Culture. He will be sorely missed.
I extend my deepest condolences to his family on his passing. It reminds us that, we never know the day or the hour so we must be ready.
May he rest in peace.
