Obituary of the Late Berkley 'Vanbyrd' Morris with funeral photos

Nassau, Bahamas -
Funeral Service for the Late Berkley "Vanbyrd" Glinton Morris, 59 years of #69 London Avenue, was held on Saturday October 27th, 10:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, East & Shirley Streets (Downtown). Rev. T.G. Morrison assisted by Rev. Anthony Sampson and other Associate Ministers will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Soldier Road.

T-Connection band leader, Theo Coakley was offered the keyboard stool as soon as he walked into the church; he began playing before even reaching his pew.

Friends paid their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34A Nassau Street on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Vocalist Ronnie Armbrister, head of the Musician's Union and keyboardist/ vocalist Paul Hanna performed 'I did it my way' in tribute to the life style lived by Berkly as requested by the church pastor.
