"This is a very sad day for us at the Grand Bahama Port Authority. We in the space of six months have lost two of the three pillars of modern Freeport" said Sarah St George, GBPA Vice Chairman.

"My father Edward St George, Sir Jack Hayward and Sir Albert worked happily together for over 30 years and lived long and fruitful lives achieving much and contributing more. Sir Albert was a larger-than-life figure, distinguished, statesmanlike and above all a family man at heart. He was the symbol of success in Grand Bahama. Through hard work, dedication and passion for Freeport, he became the first Grand Bahamian Co-Chairman of the Grand Bahama Port Authority. We respected him immensely. He was a dear friend to whom all could turn for advice and guidance. He was so dedicated to the GBPA that he never missed a single board meeting in all the years."

"Our heartfelt condolences go to his widow Laurie Lady Miller, his daughter Deborah and sons Russell and Tony and the rest of the Miller family. May he rest in peace! "

Lady Henrietta added,"I'm very saddened to hear of the death of Sir Albert, a close friend and business partner of my late husband for more than 30 years. A reliable and trusted friend to me during all my years in Freeport. I offer on behalf of myself and my family my deepest condolences to Lady Miller and their children & grandchildren."

"I'm only sorry to be away and cannot be present but be assured that you are all in our thoughts and prayers."
