Freeport, Bahamas - The Bahamas Weekly would like to acknowledge the support of Celia Mackey, who works diligently behind the scenes with The Bahamas Weekly as an editor's assistant and sales representative.

Celia is daughter to The Bahamas Weekly's co-founder, David Mackey of Mackey Media Ltd. and is no stranger to hard work that comes at you from all directions.

As a young single mother she takes her work seriously and is an avid multi-tasker as she not only assists with the popular online publication, but also runs the Mackey Media studio where she can often be found creating radio ads for The Bahamas' leading urban contemporary radio station, 100JAMZ. Celia's voice is heard in many ads on the radio today. That's not all, she also operates and runs Mackey Media's
professionally packaged bulk CD and DVD duplication services.

Whether she's answering phone calls or emails, voicing radio commercials, picking up talent from the airport for live remotes, or posting pertinent information to TheBahamasWeekly.com, Celia is a most certainly a positive example of Bahamian youth in the work force!
