About Kaylus Horton: Inspired by her favorite quote above, Kaylus understands what it
means to transition; you see she had a vision for
her life that did not depict her lifestyle. Realizing this
disparity and inspired by the possibilities of what could be,
Kaylus left the comfort of her past to embrace her very own
renaissance.
Kaylus is the founder and principal of Renaissance Group of Companies
and a professionally trained Associate of The Path Coach by Laurie Beth
Jones Inc., accredited by International Coach Federation (ICF). Kaylus
also holds a Masters Degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management
and a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management.
Much of Kaylus’s career has been spent in training and development;
helping people to accomplish more. She has served as both
Hospitality and Tourism Lecturer and Continuing Education Workshop
Facilitator at The College of The Bahamas. She served as Workshop
Coordinator and Facilitator for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and
tutored students in Math and Reading. Added to her list of
accomplishments, Kaylus is also a trained Human Resources Professional
and a Training and Organizational Development Leader.
Kaylus understands the importance of recreating while re-creating, hence
the offering of retreats. Her training in the hospitality and
recreation industries makes her retreats unique. Her objective is to
engage her clients both mentally and physically throughout their
experience. Being a Bahamian citizen who loves her country, she is
all to happy to showcase her native land, and enjoys incorporating
elements of culture and hospitality along with her workshops.
Kaylus enjoys coaching fellow Bahamians and serving those whom she lives
among and who too have a stake the country's finest asset; its’ people.
Thanks to her keen focus and organization skills clients deem her
‘simple, flexible and easy to do business with’.
