Anastagia Pierre competes in Miss Intercontinental

The Miss Intercontinental Pageant is being staged in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic on November 7th 2010. There are 76 contestants competing for this years crown. This year's representative from The Bahamas is 21 year old Anastagia Pierre, 1st Runner-up Miss Bahamas.

The Miss Intercontinental pageant began in 1971 in Aruba then know as Miss Teenage Intercontinental. The pageant is now known as Miss Intercontinental.  The Bahamas has made the semi-finals three times in 2004 with Leslia Miller; in 2006 with Samantha Carter and in 2009 with Dashanique Poitier.

Bio:
My Personal mission is to meet and exceed the expectations of the people I meet in a meaning and caring way. Being an only child growing up in a very multicultural background has allowed me to see the beauty in all aspects of life. Among my goals are to continuously seek wisdom and knowledge. Keeping in mind how much more there is to learn. I am passionate in everything that I do. My degrees in communications and psychology, managing my own retail boutique and modeling professionally will play a part in were I am five years from now. Winning the Miss Intercontinental title will have an impact on the people I meet with my message of seeking beauty in everything that surrounds us and will also bring great honor to my country.
