Bahamas High Commissioner to Canada to Hold Reception for Bahamians in Vancouver

Vancouver, BC, Canada - His Excellency, Alvin Smith, The Bahamas' High Commissioner to Canada will be in Vancouver.

He is flying to Vancouver from Toronto to attend "An Evening for The Bahamas," a fundraiser hosted by Caribbean/Bahamian Nationals in B.C.(CBNIB) which will be held at Burnaby Hall on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Smith is a former educator, Member of Parliament for North Eleuthera and Speaker of The House of Assembly, and while in BC this coming weekend he will host a reception for Bahamians in the area at 4pm on Saturday, Oct. 26

Bahamian Nationals interested in attending the private reception should RSVP to Lillamae Toppin, who is the coordinator of "An Evening for The Bahamas" fundraiser.
