OTTAWA, Canada - The following is an invite issued by the High Commission for the Commonwealth of The Bahamas:
In celebration of the 42nd Anniversary of Independence of The Bahamas, the Bahamas High Commission is pleased to invite all members of the Bahamian community, friends and well-wishers to attend the Changing of the Guard Ceremony on the Bahamas' Independence Day, Friday, 10 July 2015.
The Ceremony will be held on the East lawn of Parliament Hill and begins at 10.00 a.m. Kindly note that guests are expected to arrive by 9.45 a.m.
The Ceremonial Guard has asked us to indicate the numbers of guests expected to attend so please confirm your attendance at 613-232-1724 ext 224 or apinder@bahighco.com by 23 June 2015.
