FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Bradford Marine, Inc. is celebrating 50 years of providing outstanding service to the yachting industry, and to mark this special occasion, the company has premiered a new look. Since its founding in 1966, Bradford Marine has earned a solid reputation for building trusted relationships with its customers and delivering expert craftsmanship and efficient service. To achieve this, the company continues its tradition of providing continual development for its skilled work force, resulting in decades of employee anniversaries.

“Our reputation for service, craftsmanship, and standing behind our work with a highly-skilled, experienced work force is the reason we continue to succeed as a company,” said Paul Engle, President of Bradford Marine. “Our company has very high employee retention. More than 50% of Bradford Marine’s current work force has been with the company a decade or longer. Many have celebrated their 15th, 20th, and even 30th anniversaries in providing master-level expertise in paint, carpentry, propeller, and custom specialty trades. Our experienced work force works closely together, combining many trades to bring the very best results and efficiencies, and this translates into value for our customers,” he added.

The first haul out in 1966 at Bradford Marine was a then-large yacht named the “Fontainebleau”, and since then the company has worked on yachts of all types and sizes. The company’s in-house service capabilities include full-service expertise working on everything from wooden vessels to the latest yachts. Bradford Marine’s full range of maintenance, repair, and refit services are undercover in its Fort Lauderdale shipyard. Bradford Marine Bahamas began operation of its Freeport shipyard in 1997 on a 47-acre site with a 150-ton Travelift, and in 2000, the company added a 1,200-ton floating drydock they built to ABS specifications.

Bradford Marine Yacht Sales offers unique yacht brokerage benefits for both buyers and sellers that support the full lifecycle of ownership. Buyers enjoy a boat show experience every day in the undercover yacht showroom, where more than 60 yachts are on display, and Sellers benefit from complimentary undercover dockage and exceptional marketing exposure. Bradford Marine Yacht Sales also welcomes collaboration with co-brokers to achieve results.

Last month, to celebrate this special 50th anniversary, Bradford Marine unveiled a new logo and branding at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Bradford Marine looks forward to fifty more years of building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
