New York, NY - New York’s nights may be finally cooling off, but that didn’t stop the people from Carbon14, a new outdoor and active lifestyle brand, from celebrating the launch of their watch collection with a Bahamian Night at The North Cabana at Maritime Hotel. The theme highlights their partnership with Korath Wright, Olympic snowboarder, and first ever Bahamian athlete to compete in the Olympics, this upcoming winter.

Also there was Malik Yoba, from legendary bobsled movie “Cool Runnings”, and the inspiration from the 1993 film, Jamaican bob-sledder, Devon Harriss. Patrick McDonald, Nancy Bacich, Jules Kirkby, Kristian Lalibarte, Carol Han, celebrity activist Suzy “Africa” Engo, and Greg K of the MisShapes also joined in for some Bahamian-themed cocktails and to celebrate the new watch launch. The night’s early October weather was perfect for the space, which consisted of a roaring fireplace and a partially opened roof. Not quite the Bahamas, but with enough cocktails, one can always pretend… right?
