DIRadioCast to Host the Celebration of the 38th Anniversary of The Bahamas Independence in Atlanta

Atlanta, GEORGIA -  Bahama Mamas, Ann Marie Turner  and Gaylene Francis in association with MIX MASTER DAVID present The Celebration of The 38th Anniversary of The Bahamas Independence under the theme “United in Love and Service” hosted by Bahamian national and international media personality AFRICA-ALLAH of  www.diradiocast.com. Special Guest appearances by Bahamian Rap Artists RAPPQuelle and Sosa Man Major  courtesy of DIRadioCast.

2011 has been a celebratory year for Bahamians residing in Georgia. After an outstanding Peachtree Carnival turnout, Memorial Day Weekend and a well attended Caribbean heritage display at The Capital in June, Bahamian promoters have been inspired to reach out to the Bahamian community.

DIRadioCast.com, a Bahamian managed, US-based multi-media network has been operating in the State of Georgia since 2006 and seeks to create booking opportunities for Bahamian artists while establishing a core Bahamian – Caribbean following in the Atlanta market. DIRadioCast extended an invitation to Bahamian artists RAPPQuelle andSosa Man Major, both of whom are doing promotional events  to garner support for their individual music releases and digital projects.

The Bahamas Consulate General Atlanta will also host a Picnic on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at The Beach House at Camp Exposure in Lithonia, Georgia. Please BYOC (bring your own lounge chair.) As well, the Bahamas Consulate General and Bishop Dr. Mark Sandilands will host a Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration at Power of Touch Ministries in Chattanooga, Tennessee at 11:00am.

As part of the Independence festivities Bahamian emcee and featured performer RAPPQuelle will host a Party Bus between Miami and Atlanta in support of the
The Celebration of The 38th Anniversary of The Bahamas Independence co-sponsored by The DS3 Entertainment Group. The Bahamas to the World #WeaReUp Party Bus leaves Miami, Florida on the evening of Thursday, July 7, 2011 and returns from Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, July 10, 2011.  The entire weekend of activities will be recorded and streamed across DIRadioCast.com.
