Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling during her official visit to the United Kingdom attended various activities including a business meeting for Governors General at Buckingham Palace, a Service of Thanksgiving and Trooping the Colour for the Queen’s 90th Birthday.

The business meeting at Buckingham Palace chaired by the Right Honourable Sir Christopher Geidt, Private Secretary to Her Majesty The Queen, was the very first gathering of Governors-General. The meeting discussed an array of issues of common interest to the nations represented and reiterated the solidarity, ideals and aspirations of The Commonwealth.
At the conclusion of Dame Marguerite’s official visit, she held a reception for the Bahamian Diaspora at Bahamas House in London.
