Dr. & Mrs. Myles Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder Honoured at Oral Roberts University

: On February 18th, 2015 the families of Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder attended a Tribute Ceremony Chapel Service at the Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder was inducted to the Wall of Sacrifice for their contribution to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dr. William M. Wilson, the president of ORU spoke highly of Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder and stated that they graduated from ORU in the 1970’s. He then presented the family with the Prayer Hands that read “In Loving memory of Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder who died while taking the healing message of Jesus Christ to the uttermost bounds of the earth. Oral Roberts University honors their life and legacy by inducing them into the Wall of Sacrifice, February 2015. Philippians 4:6-7”. Dr. William M. Wilson also stated that Dr. Myles Munroe was “The best known and best loved alumni ORU has ever produced. 11001767_10203679111838945_8554037926435531064_n
Dr. Richard Pinder’s son, Richard R. Pinder Jr. along with Pastor Richard’s wife Pastor Sheena Pinder and daughter Talia M. Pinder thanked ORU for the honor of their father and husband. He then went on to speak about how highly Dr. Pinder spoke of the institute when ever asked what college he went to.10360455_10203672538634619_1011850352395083040_n
Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe’s son, Myles Jr. along with his sister Charisa Munroe by his side then spoke after being presented with the Prayer Hands thanking ORU for the prayers and condolences. Myles Jr. on to state that their strength comes from their parents and the good values and principles that they have instilled in them. He also stated how attending ORU helped them. Mr. Munroe encouraged ORU to keep up the good work and stated that Dr. Myles Munroe was an example of what the university can produce, saying “A young man from the Bahamas came there because of a vision that he had and that vision was carried out into the world”.  He also prayed that the impact and legacy that his father left inspires the students to chase their dream and to stay grounded on the word of God.

Dr. William M. Wilson then thanked the families and said that “ORU are standing with them and will continue to pray for them for many many years to come.”
