Foreign Affairs Minister Henfield Receives Briefing In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Shortly after he arrived in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday afternoon, May 30, 2017, Minister of Foreign Affairs Darren Henfield met with diplomatic staff members of the Bahamas Embassy and The Bahamas Embassy Consular Annex in the conference room of the Embassy, 2220 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., where he was briefed on the various diplomatic engagements of the Embassy and the Consular Annex.

Pictured from left to right during the briefing session are His Excellency Dr. Eugene Newry, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States; His Excellency Dr. Elliston Rahming, Bahamas Ambassador to the United Nations and the Organization of American States (OAS); Minister Henfield; Ms. Paulette Zonicle, Bahamas Consul General to Washington, D.C.; and Ms. Janine Gibson, Second Secretary, Bahamas Embassy Consular Annex. Minister Henfield is in Washington for a meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the region at the OAS on Wednesday, May 31.
