WASHINGTON, D.C. - A group of students studying international relations at Oral Roberts University (ORU) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, visited The Bahamas Embassy, 2220 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, as part of their humanities-related school trip. The students, who drove for 18 hours from Tulsa, are from various countries, including Randi Blue Hanna, from The Bahamas; Samuel Tsuma, Kenyan-American; Jeadiel Hosein, Trinidad and Tobago; Jori Marshall, Jamaican-American; and Christian Brehmer, United States. They met with His Excellency Dr. Eugene Newry, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, and Mr. Chet Neymour, Deputy Chief of Mission, during which they discussed foreign relations and The Bahamas’ role as a sovereign state. The Bahamas Embassy is one of several Embassies visited by the students, who are all majoring in Government and International Relations. They are scheduled to leave Washington on Thursday for New York, where they plan to visit the United Nations and Columbia University before returning to Oklahoma.
