Junior Minister of Tourism calls on Bahamas Consul General

NEW YORK -- Mr. Owyn Ferguson, Junior Minister of Tourism 2015 from St. Anne’s School in Nassau, and his mother Mrs, Lyn Ferguson, accompanied by Ms. Samantha Cartwright, coordinator of Junior Minister of Tourism Program, paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Forrester J. Carroll, Bahamas Consul General to New York, on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Bahama House, 231 East 46th Street.  The Junior Minister of Tourism Program was launched in 2002 through the Ministry of Tourism’s Training and Education Department. Its long-range goal is to generate a talent pool of young professionals to service the tourism industry. Mr. Ferguson was in New York for the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Annual Caribbean Week and to participate in the Youth Congress.
