During
three 5-day LEGO workshops this July, children will have a chance to
work side-by-side with a LEGO Master Builder in group building events
and hands-on, minds-on building challenges. The camp sessions will
take place from
July 12-16, 2010 (Session One);
July 19-23, 2010 (Session Two); and
July 26-30, 2010 (Session Three) with a cost per session of
$425
per child. Space is limited. Camp pricing excludes room cost and is
available only in conjunction with a 4-night minimum stay at Atlantis.
This
five day program allows parents to book a specialized trip to Atlantis,
Paradise Island and immerse themselves in the world of LEGO building at
the same time. Perfect for a summer treat, especially for LEGO fans,
the program is designed to maximize family time within the 171-acre
paradise while their children get the chance to participate in
activities that encourage teamwork, personal creativity and fine motor
skills within a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
They
will learn from a LEGO Master Builder all of the intricate and amazing
tips and tricks of LEGO building, participate in a resort-wide
scavenger hunt including parts of the hotel never-before-seen by guests
and access to the resort's marine operations and AKA.

The
program comes inclusive of all activities and LEGO materials (including
full-sized LEGO Atlantis product), a swim with the resort's Katrina
Dolphins in Dolphin Cay, complimentary Atlantis Speedway sessions along
with a car for each child to race, lunch each day for the campers and
an all-camper ice cream social and pizza and coketail party. As
always, Atlantis activities – the marine habitats, Aquaventure Water
Park and the many water experiences – are complimentary to all guests.
LEGO Atlantis Fantasy Camp will also include special 2 for 1 pricing on
Dolphin Cay shallow interactions limited one per family.
Each
camp program also includes welcome, one-of-a-kind gifts from Atlantis
and LEGO Systems, a 4-day-long mega-project with the LEGO Master
Builders and daily activities, both outdoors and active as well as
indoors and intricate – all themed around the LEGO brand.

THE LEGO CONSTRUCTION ZONE AT AKA
With its soft opening on
December 21, 2009 and grand opening on
January 23, 2010,
Atlantis Kids Adventures (AKA), Atlantis' new 8,000-square-foot
state-of-the-art kid's club, was designed to whet even the most
skeptical child's imagination and take the idea of personalization to
the kid's level.
Resort
guests ages 6-12 are able to choose their own afternoon adventure at
AKA, with staff Adventurers available to help with LEGO building
challenges, culinary lessons, interactive electronic art, theater and
outdoor play – playing to each child's interests.
AKA
at Atlantis also breaks the mold with the incorporation of cutting-edge
technology – throughout the play space – for both the entertainment and
educational value it provides young guests. Interactive, touch-screen
walls, tables and floors, provide creative game play and artistic
expression. iwalls and ifloors feature schools of fish and other
creatures that follow fingers and swim away from the touch of hands;
lizards may chase their feet across the floor or beach balls may bounce
around them. But, traditional activity, like manipulatives and
reading, are brought to life in the
LEGO Construction Zone
