Northern Caribbean Program of the Nature Conservancy calls on Bahamas Ambassador to the United States

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Ms. Eleanor Phillips, Program Director of the Northern Caribbean Program of the Nature Conservancy, which took place on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Eugene Newry, Bahamas Ambassador to the United States, on Wednesday, July 22.

Discussions centered around the work of the Conservancy, potential bilateral engagement with the United States on fisheries conservation and how the Embassy could assist the Conservancy's work. Ms. Phillips was in Washington DC to participate in World Bank meetings regarding COAST, a proposed Caribbean fisheries insurance program.
