U.S. Embassy Hosts Session for American citizens on Voting in the 2012 U.S. Elections and Hurricane Preparedness

Nassau, Bahamas - The U.S. Embassy will hold a Town Hall Meeting for American citizens residing in The Bahamas on Tuesday June 12, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.

‪Consular Officers will provide an overview of the absentee voting process in the United States’ 2012 Presidential Election and provide tips on preparing for this year's hurricane season, which started on June 1.

‪The event will be held at the U.S. Embassy on Queen St. across the street from the British Colonial Hilton hotel.  Interested participants must reserve a space via email at acsnassau@state.gov. Please include your name and passport number when confirming your attendance. 

The Embassy also asks that participants register for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) via https://step.state.gov/step/
