The quirky colourful fun cartoon art fashions by
Nadia + Zehra of London at Vancouver Fashion Week this past season were like nothing I have ever seen before! Picture the Teletubbles about to go over the edge, perhaps on a bad combination of drugs and alcohol...

London-based fashion designers Nadia + Zehra are known as 'The Twins' and brought us their fresh and expression art creative process with two collections titled ‘Opposites Attract’ about cartoon characters, and ‘See No Evil, Hear No Evil’ base on an inspiration of children's toys.

“Our inspiration came from Italian and Turkish costumes,” said Nadia Mustafa with StyleDrama at Vancouver Fashion Week.

Look closely and you will see that the collections are unique, yet similar in many ways with their use of color, shape and pattern.

I was highly impressed by their fashion collections and their creative process.

Recent graduates from Polimoda Fashion School in Florence, Italy, Nadia + Zehra have a fun, bold and unisex lifestyle fashion brand that certainly sets them apart; and it will be fascinating to see where they takes us next season.
