Dear Alex,
Regarding your response to the recently published Front Porch letter. You will continue to disappoint your readers if you do not subdue your extremely emotional side...as well your tendency to spew venom and to issue a mishmash of over used clichés and tired bromides in your ever-failing attempts to defend the indefensible and to re-write history with respect to both past and recent PLP failings. Case in point: Your defense of Everette Bannister and others.
As for your suggestion that Simon of “Front Porch” is a "HER”, you must possess acute feminine – sensitive radar that enabled you to zero - in on that. I have been an avid “Front Porch” fan for a while now and never had occasion to question Simon’s gender precisely because “Simon” is a name ordinarily given to a male. Moreover, what is its significance?????
As for your defense of Mr. Bannister, please avail yourself of the following published and well-circulated material, which will, hopefully, refresh your selective memory:

3. Running as an independent candidate in the 1987 General Elections.
