Nassau, The Bahamas – April 11, 2018 ALIV is pleased to announce that it is evolving its leadership structure as the first phase of its development of establishing a world class brand and rolling out its state of the art network everywhere in The Bahamas is nearing an end. Johnny Ingle, who has been instrumental in creating and establishing the ALIV brand and marketing in the role of Chief Aliv Champion, has stepped down from his role. ALIV thanks Mr. Ingle publicly for the immense contribution he has made over the last two years in establishing and building the company into the incredible success it is today. As part of this evolution we are pleased to announce the promotions of Gravette Brown and Patrice Thompson to Chief Aliv Commercial Officer and General Manager for New Providence respectively, with immediate effect. Gravette and Patrice’s new roles are a key part of ALIV’s senior leadership team reporting to Chief ALIV Officer, Damian Blackburn. “I hope you will join me in congratulating Gravette and Patrice in their new roles and I commend both of them on their outstanding performances so far at ALIV,” Mr. Blackburn said. “I wish them the best of luck in their new roles. It is very sad for us to say goodbye to Johnny Ingle who has given his heart and soul to building this brand, but it is a testament to the strength of our senior team to be able to evolve our leadership by promoting both Gravette and Patrice to lead this next phase of our journey.” Gravette will have overall responsibility for development and delivery of ALIV’s customer initiatives roadmap. This includes all products, pricing, promotions, brand and business development (including partnerships and innovative solutions for consumers) and development and implementation of our marketing and communication plans. Gravette has worked with ALIV since its inception and has become an invaluable member of the leadership team successfully leading our launch financing and planning project, been highly influential in building our core commercial platform and creating and refining efficient processes to support this, built great partnerships in education and health among other areas and has shown great innovation in shaping our SMART phone solution agenda. Prior to ALIV, Gravette worked across three continents, and held positions in the Private Equity, Financial Operations Social Enterprise, and Manufacturing and Service industries and this international perspective coupled with her Bahamian roots is a huge asset to our company. Building on ALIV’s highly successful model of regionalization with a General Manager for Northern Bahamas based in Grand Bahama, Richard Stanton, and a General Manager for Central and Southern Bahamas, Carl Momplaisir, based in Exuma we are delighted to announce the promotion of Patrice Thompson as General Manager of ALIV’s largest market, New Providence. Patrice will be responsible for customer facing operations in the island as well as overall Aliv experience and will focus on optimizing customer and employee experience, driving high performance results within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additionally, she will drive sales teams to achieve targeted success; maintain the overall health and performance of retail stores; manage and lead dynamic sales strategies; develop and implement sales tools/initiatives; develop community partnerships; among many other strategic responsibilities. Patrice has been with ALIV since inception as our Team Director, leading the monumental effort to recruit, develop and coach the 200-strong team we know today. She has been an invaluable leader in the Human Resources team, bringing high levels of dedication and innovation. Patrice has been at the center of recruiting, implementing HR policies and initiatives, including customized training programs, policy creation, team and organizational development and much more.
