Baleària Caribbean and the government of the Bahamas will collaborate in training course regarding Bahamian culture and traditions for all of the firm’s customer service staff.  The objective is to coach personnel to improve services and provide customers wishing to visit the Bahamas with more complete information.

The training program—to begin in mid-April—is divided into two terms.  The first will be offered at company offices in Freeport (Grand Bahama) as daily, two-hour sessions throughout four days. The second term will be a six-hour session on April 18th in Fort Lauderdale (Florida, USA). Seven employees in the Bahamas and twenty-two in Fort Lauderdale will be taking these courses.

This past weekend, Baleària participated in the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2016, held in West Palm Beach (Florida) from the 17th to the 20th of March. Baleària Caribbean in conjunction with the Bahamian government, are promoting Freeport as a tourist destination. The Boat Show is one of five most important trade fairs dedicated to shipping, yachts and seafaring accessories.
