South Bimini, Bahamas – Bimini Sands Resort & Marina on the Bahamas Gateway Island of Bimini is pleased to announce it has entered into a strategic marketing agreement with Guy Harvey Outpost. By joining the exclusive Guy Harvey Outpost Expedition Collection of independently owned and operated resorts, Bimini Sands can take advantage of the Outpost’s marketing, outfitting and online reservation system. In addition, Guy Harvey Outpost will have the opportunity to co-host fishing tournaments with Bimini Sands from its full-service marina, which offers the fastest access to world-class fishing waters of any marina on the island, along with oceanfront condos, two of Bimini’s most popular restaurants, a new infinity pool, Bimini’s top-rated dive operation and many other exciting activities.

“We are delighted to partner with Guy Harvey because his passion for conserving the environment matches our own,” said Frank Cooney, President and CEO of Bimini Sands Resort & Marina. “Keeping our resort and marina, our island, and the incredible blue water surrounding it pristine is a priority for us here at Bimini Sands. In addition, our world-class dive operation, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center, and the Bimini Sands Activities Center, which offers a long list of eco-adventures from shark encounters to stand-up paddleboarding, makes Bimini Sands an ideal destination for any Guy Harvey Outpost Expeditions guest.”

Bimini Sands Marina is the only Blue Flag-certified marina in Bimini, and one of only four marinas in the Bahamas to achieve this high standard of environmental stewardship. It also was the first marina in the Bahamas to become a certified Shark-Free Marina, aiding in the preservation of endangered shark species – something Guy Harvey also supports.

“We are looking forward to welcoming Guy Harvey and his clients back to Bimini to enjoy everything our island and our truly authentic Bahamian resort and marina have to offer,” Cooney said.
