Freeport, GBI –
I am pleased to announce that on May 20th – May 22nd, 2008, Mr. John Beehner, Business Consultant, Author and so much more from Jacksonville Florida will be on Grand Bahama to speak to business executives and owners equipping business persons to transform the world by applying Biblical Principals in Business.

Mr. Beehner, will be speaking at the Grand Bahama Christian Council’s monthly meeting on Tuesday May 20th at 7:30 pm at the St. John’s Jubilee Cathedral. He will then speak to the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce during the monthly meeting to be held on Wednesday May 21st at 12:30 pm at Sunrise Marina (formerly Running Mon Marina).

These sessions bring a fresh perspective to the Business and Christian communities and will help to develop our people to operate efficiently and effectively in business. When we commit our business to God we are guaranteed success. Mr. Beehner comes at a critical time as the economy of Grand Bahama has started to take a dip and business executives have become fearful of the future.  These symposiums will bring hope and direction to struggling businesses and empowerment to all other businesses.

ABOUT JOHN BEEHNER: John is a highly successful and multidimensional entrepreneur, consultant, trainer, and author. He has spent 28 years helping and working with Entrepreneurs. Beginning in 1982 he started TEC (The Executive Committee) in Florida and personally worked one-on-one with hundreds of CEOs of fast-growing, mid-sized companies through a roundtable process of problem solving with major focus on quality, service and profitability. After 13 years, he sold his business, which had a staff of twenty and 300 monthly clients throughout the state.

When he felt the “calling” to write, True Wealth…By the Book, he spent over two years personally researching the book. John uncovered over 140 inspiring stories and illustrations of the 3 cornerstones of Truth for Business Leaders following or learning from Biblical Principals. The book was in the Top 10% of sales on Amazon.com for three years.

In 2000, he founded Wise Counsel, a small group process which helps Entrepreneurs and Executives focus on the balance between their Business and Spiritual calling. He has newly formed an Internet Resource, known as the Wise Counsel Network which offers leaders a membership service giving them access to experts through streaming video, audio, interviews and forums.

For four years, John and a team of Executives have worked to create Genesis: The Business Workshop. This 13 week video series educates and inspires leaders with the knowledge of Building a Business on a solid foundation from a Biblical Perspective. It is filled with stories and examples of men like J.C. Penney, John D. Rockefeller, Sam Walton, James Kraft and 50 others.

He believes that these tools will continue to help emerging leaders form new Wise Counsel Teams of CEOs and peers who benefit from each others’ advice and counsel plus the insights of outside experts on a monthly basis.

John has just finished writing a new book, “The Untold Secret That Creates Millionaires,” which will be published soon.
