Nassau, Bahamas – The official opening ceremony for the 42nd Annual Scientific Conference was held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel. The Conference, which is presented by the Medical Association of The Bahamas, brings together medical and public health experts from around region. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘The Next 40 Years: Forging the Way Forward’. The two day conference serves as a platform for stakeholders to discuss and reflect upon achieving a common goal of maintaining high standards of medical practice, ethics and conduct in The Bahamas.
