BIMINI,
Bahamas -- Beautiful women wearing sexy swimwear in an exquisite
location at Resorts World Bimini (RWB) make for a perfect combination,
and it will all come together during the upcoming Hooters International
2016 calendar photo shoot, to take place at RWB May 10th – 15th with the opportunity for fans to join in on the experience for as little as $88 per person with a 3-day, 2-night cruise.
Photographers
will have multiple options to choose from on the RWB property,
including a breathtaking infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean,
pristine beaches, picturesque landscapes, a mega-yacht marina, and more.
"Resorts
World Bimini offers a variety of gorgeous locations that will provide
the perfect backdrop for the Hooters Calendar photo shoot," said
Ray Valentino,
General Manager of Resorts World Bimini. "We welcome the opportunity to
showcase our brand to such a widespread audience and we are confident
that the final images will be nothing short of spectacular!"
Thousands
of hopefuls apply to appear in the Hooters International Calendar each
year, however only a select 300 are chosen to travel to exotic locations
like Bimini for a photo session. That number is then whittled down to
the lucky final 200 models who actually appear in the calendar.
According to Director of Marketing and Public Affairs for Hooters Kristi Quarles, the
Florida-based Hooters models coming to Bimini will have the added edge of being photographed in an amazing location.
"With
so many beautiful women applying to appear in our calendar, these girls
will be facing some really tough competition," she said. "That being
said, the final photos chosen won't just be based on the beauty of the
model, but the beauty of the backdrop as well, and as far as backdrops
are concerned, it doesn't get any better than Resorts World Bimini.
We're looking forward to a very successful shoot all around."
While in Bimini, the models and crew will tour
Alice Town via a golf cart motorcade. The models will also be making a donation of sporting goods to the Louise McDonald High School.
Selling
nearly 500,000 copies annually, the Hooters brand has been producing
the popular calendar for the last 28 of its 31-year existence.
