Bimini, Bahamas – In a matter of weeks, the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini will be fully opened, and hundreds of Bahamians are hoping to be among those joining the team which will welcome visitors to the nation’s newest luxury resort. Job seekers turned out in droves to RWB’s 2-island Career Fair event which was held in Bimini on March 21 and in New Providenceon March 24 - 25.
RWB General Manager Ray Valentino said he was impressed by the turnout.
“More than 550 people showed up and we saw a few potential super stars in that group,” he said. “The task now will be to sift through all of the applications to select the successful jobseekers that will join our team. Our new hotel will be spectacular and the level of service will have to match. I am confident that we will be able to meet the task, based on the caliber of persons we have to choose from.”
Phase I of the Hilton at Resorts World Bimini was opened in April of 2015. With the completion of Phase II, the hotel’s deluxe lobby featuring a variety of dining options including a piano lounge and sushi bar will also be available, in addition to a state-of-the-art meeting space, a spa, salon, gym, rooftop infinity pool, lazy river, swim up pool bar and more. The hotel’s official opening is scheduled for early summer 2016.
