Final preparations are being made in the new location of Sav-Mor Drugs. The new 10,000 square foot store is located in the former Columbus Theatre building on the corner of East Mall and Adventurers Way in downtown Freeport. Sav-Mor Drugs will move from its current location in RND Plaza to this new site effective Monday, Oct 31, which will provide its customers with a larger prescription area, expanded cosmetics, and a new customer service counter. Freeport, Grand Bahama -  Sav-Mor Drugs has announced its relocation to new premises in the former Columbus Theatre building, now the Siboney Office Complex on East Mall, directly across from Pizza Hut in downtown Freeport.

The prescription drug and convenience store will move from its present site at RND Plaza to its new home effective Monday, October 31 when it will reopen its doors at 8:30 a.m. on that date.

The new location provides nearly double the amount of floor space of its previous location, now with over 10,000 square feet, and offers more than 100 parking spaces to ease access and traffic flow.

President of Sav-Mor Drugs Ronald Sweeting says that the new location will allow the company to significantly extend its level of service to the company’s loyal customers.

“Not only is everything bigger but it’s better,” Mr Sweeting said. “We have more cashiers, a much larger prescription counter, dedicated areas for cosmetics, perfume and jewelry, and a new customer service counter. All of this means we can serve more customers faster and better than ever before.”

The changes are not just in size and location, but the company has provided new training for its staff, and has expanded its staff to ensure that it continues to deliver the best possible customer experience in the business.

Mr Sweeting assured that these improvements are all at no increase in prices and that the new choices in product range will appeal to even more Grand Bahamians.

The hours of operation for Sav-Mor Drugs is 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.
