Defence Headquarters, (RBDF) - Members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and the Police Force met with residents of the Abaco communities on Tuesday past in an effort to reinforce strategies of both agencies a year after the passage of Hurricane Dorian.

Led by Lieutenant Commander Andrew Bowe, Executive Officer for the RBDF Northern Command and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ashton Greenslade, the Officers and Marines conducted a walk about of the Treasure Cay and Hope Town communities. There, they took the time to listen to locals concerning crime and other criminal matters which exist with their communities.

Through shared information and healthy dialogue, some suggestions and other possible solutions were discussed to address the concerns. Lieutenant Commander Bowe assured the residents that their concerns were being met.
