Shaquille O'Neal in Bimini for Naked Taco Takeover Weekend

Bimini, Bahamas – Great food, pulsating music, and a basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal spinning hits made for an unforgettable event for fans of celebrity chef Ralph Pagano who ate, drank, and partied in Bimini during the Naked Taco Takeover weekend held at Resorts World Bimini (RWB). The award-winning chef brought the flavor of his popular Miami restaurant to the resort July 24 – 26, the first in a series of culinary events to be featured at the resort in the coming months.
The Naked Taco Takeover Weekend was unlike any other. While there are several chefs in the Miami area who are hosting events in the Caribbean, this marked the first time that a chef has taken to sea and land in one exciting event. Activities included exclusive culinary soirees hosted by Chef Pagano, featuring the scrumptious fare for which he is known.

The 3-day event began aboard Bimini SuperFast with a VIP party in Bimini Breeze café at which patrons enjoyed complimentary Santa Theresa rum cocktails and a variety of Naked Taco treats. The party continued on Saturday with a party at RWB’s Beach Club where Chef Pagano whipped up a specially created menu, a taco bar, complimentary cocktails and a live demonstration. Other celebrities joining Chef Pagano for the weekend fete were DJ Vertigo and DJ Irie performed.
The weekend getaway ended with a bang – “Shaq”, AKA DJ Diesel rocked the house for over two hours with DJ Irie during a family friendly party. Quite a number of youngsters left the party with bragging rights, having been brought onto the stage to dance and rap with the basketball legend.
The Naked Taco Takeover Weekend was the first of a series of chef events scheduled to take place at Resorts World Bimini.
