Coral Harbour Base (RBDF Sept 22) –The Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s Harbour Patrol Unit received reports concerning a 26-foot sport fishing vessel, named “Papa B” that was stolen from the Fox Hill Creek Canal early Monday morning. Acting on intelligence received, the Unit immediately
dispatched two patrol vessels to investigate, which led them to a remote area in the Sea Breeze Canal where the vessel was found by Defence Force Marines. A 17-foot Boston Whaler that was later confirmed as stolen was also found by Defence Force Marines in the same area. Subsequently, the two stolen vessels were towed to Harbour Patrol Unit were the matter was turned over to Police for further investigation.
