2014 Supermodel of the Bahamas: October 10th-12th

Nassau, Bahamas - The premier modeling competition out of The Bahamas, Supermodel of the Bahamas is set for October 10th - 12th with all events to be held in Nassau over three consecutive nights at a unique location each night.

Now in its 7th year, Supermodel of the Bahamas continues to produce superstars. 17 year old title winner Patricka Ferguson has since become an international sensation. Last year she attended Vancouver Fashion Week and became a hit in the week-long fashion showcase with designers from around the world.  Since returning back to the Bahamas, Patricka was booked this year by the internationally acclaimed photographer, "Michael Grecco" for a week of print and video work at Atlantis resort. Supermodel Patricka Ferguson is now being seen around the world in the Michael Grecco how-to photography video which has already received almost 17,000 hits.

This year's event will entertain as never seen before. The theme "ANGELIC" will depict 12 young MEN and WOMEN from the islands of the Bahamas.
Each contestant has a unique beauty and style, showing great potential for the fashion industry.

AND THEN THERE WERE 7: The life of a model is not cracked up for anyone... you get a photo shoot call, you don't show up, you are a goner in the industry! Supermodel of the Bahamas expects no less... after night 1, four of our contestants have been cut... The competition continues with 5 females and 2 males left. See you at Event 2! The Swimsuit, best body award competition is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th at 7:30pm at the Town Hotel, 40 George Street.



VOTING STILL GOING: Facebook Voting Album

Three spectacular events will take place over three nights and will offer three rewarding titles:

The Launch was on October 10th beginning at 7:30pm at Conch Fritters Bar & Grill Bay Street across from the Hilton Hotel, where you will meet this year's contestants.

The Swimsuit, best body award competition is scheduled the next night on October 11th at 7:30pm at the Town Hotel, 40 George Street.  Tickets are $35, which includes 1 drink, and hors d'oeuvres.

The Finale will take place on October 12th, at the Sur Club Sushi Bar & Restaurant at Elizabeth on Bay Marketplace & Marina. That night, a VIP Cocktail reception begins at 6:30pm, with the main show beginning at 8pm, followed by an after-party featuring the 2014 winners, and the international and local judges for a ticket price of $ 50 general admission (with one drink) and $65 VIP (with one drink). The VIP are provided with full access to a cocktail reception and after-party.

The Supermodel of the Bahamas Competition will this year feature special guest performer "Gawain On Saxophone."
