Nassau, The Bahamas (MTBO) May 16, 2011--Theodore Elyett’s Miss Teen Bahamas Organization is looking for young ladies ages 14-18 throughout The Bahamas to take a summer challenge to become the next teen beauty ambassador for The Bahamas, Miss Teen Bahamas 2011/12!

Under the theme, “Pretty Girl Rock: Beauty. Intelligence.Grace”, this year the Organization will celebrate 6 years of beauty and excellence in Bahamian pageantry.

On Sunday June 5th, 2011 at 4pm at Mario's Entertainment Palace, there will be a special Pre-Pageant Information Session for all young ladies who are interested in being apart of our teen summer development program.  This session will provide applicants with valuable information on the pageant, allowing them to begin preparations for our exciting 2011 summer program. All interested young ladies between the ages of 14-18 are asked to apply online at  www.MISSTEENBAHAMASORG.com .

The application deadline is  June 25th, 2011. Upon completion of the application, all applicants will receive an automatic confirmation email with a special invitation to attend the June 18th Pre-Pageant Screening Session.

Theodore Elyett’s Miss Teen Bahamas Organization, while only 6 years old, is the most successful pageant in the history of The Bahamas.  Since our inception in 2005, we have touched the lives of almost 100 contestants, crowning 12 queens; 6 of whom have gone on to win international titles- a feat achieved by no other pageant organization in The Bahamas!

Regarded as the “Miss Universe” of teen pageants in the country, we are certain that our program definitely molds teen ambassadors who understand that beauty is more than a crown and a sash- that it encompasses reaching out to touch the lives of other teens, by being a positive example for them to emulate.

The program which officially begins in June provides our contestants with over two (2) months of educational seminars, stage deportment training, question and answer techniques, personal grooming, etiquette and speech seminars, community service initiatives and so much more.  Apart from the grand finale, contestants will compete in a myriad of other competitions such as: spokes model and queen of the catwalk, talent, evening gown and a Toastmaster’s speech competition.

The historic 6th annual Theodore Elyett's Miss. Teen Bahamas® Beauty Pageant is slated for August 14th 2011.  At the end of our spectacular night's showcase, one lucky young lady will walk away with over $5,000.00 in cash and prizes, the chance to represent her country internationally.
