“16 Islands, 16 Weddings, One Priceless Day” contest winners, Shametria Almond and Victor Courtney where wed today in Grand Bahama, at the same time another 15 couples were being married around the other Islands of The Bahamas; specifically Acklins, Crooked Island, Abaco, Andros, The Berry Islands, Bimini, Cat
Island, Eleuthera, Exuma, Harbour Island, Inagua, Long
Island, Nassau, Paradise Island and San Salvador all at 4pm.
The Grand Bahama wedding ceremony took place at the UNEXSO Dolphin Encounter facility (located in Smith's Point).
The lucky couples were chosen among 3,000 entrants of
the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism’s promotion.
The event has a number of sponsors including the Out Island
Promotion Board.
